PARCELVIEW3D · PLATFORM COMPARISON GUIDE
A side-by-side comparison of how ParcelView3D adapts to Land Investors, ADU Builders, Home Builders, Remodelers and Developers.
ParcelView3D is a single platform, but the people using it are not selling the same thing. A land investor is moving raw acreage. An ADU builder is selling a structure that does not exist yet. A remodeler is selling a change to something that already does. A developer is selling an outcome and the numbers behind it.
Rather than force all of those into one generic listing template, ParcelView3D asks you to choose your business type at signup. From that point on, the labels, badges and pricing terminology automatically adapt to match the way your business talks to its buyers and clients. The underlying toolset stays the same; the language wrapped around it changes.
This guide compares the five available business types, shows where they differ, and shows what every one of them gets regardless of which you pick.

The Five Business Types immediately
Each business type carries its own price label and its own verification badge. Those two details do more work than they look like they do: they set the expectation for the person on the other end of the link before they read a single line of your description.

Business Type by Business Type
Land Investors
This is the origin point of the platform. ParcelView3D was originally designed to help land professionals present properties more effectively through interactive 3D visualization and modern marketing tools: the price field reads Cash Price, and the badge reads Verified Seller.
The emphasis for this type is 3D aerial views, owner financing and storefront listings. That last piece matters for anyone carrying inventory rather than a single parcel — A branded storefront gives you a fully browsable property catalog with your own logo and branding, allowing buyers to browse your listings instead of a marketplace where your properties appear alongside competitors, so buyers browse your catalog instead of a marketplace where you sit next to your competition. ParcelView3D also supports owner financing information within property listings, making it easier for sellers to present both cash and monthly payment options. Which suits sellers who quote a monthly payment as often as a cash number.
ADU Builders
ADU Builders includes tools specifically designed for ADU planning and project presentation. The price label becomes Build Cost, and the badge becomes Verified Builder, and the emphasis moves to design concepts, build cost estimates and project videos — because an ADU builder is selling something that has not been built yet.
The platform addresses that directly with site feasibility, 3D visualization, setback compliance and build cost estimates in a single tool, so a builder can show a homeowner what is possible before submitting a bid. The Site Planner lets you drop ADU floor plans onto a property, then drag, rotate and resize them to fit, with automatic setback lines showing compliance instantly and a PDF export for permits. AI concept renderings show a client what their backyard could look like in ranch, modern, cabin or barndominium styles.
ADU Builders is also the only business type with its own dedicated pricing track, separate from the standard self-service tiers.

Home Builders
Home Builders reads Build Price and carries the Verified Builder badge. The emphasis is lot + build packages, home features and walkthroughs.
The distinction from ADU Builders is worth noting. An ADU builder is usually working on a homeowner’s existing lot, so the conversation is about feasibility and placement. A home builder is more often presenting the lot and the house together as one package, which is why the emphasis shifts toward home features and walkthroughs — the buyer is evaluating the finished product as much as the ground it will sit on.
Remodelers
Remodelers is the only type that carries the Verified Contractor badge, and its price label is Project Cost. The emphasis is before-and-after concepts, project scope and estimates.
Nothing about that list is speculative marketing language — it is the shape of the actual sale. A remodeling client is comparing what they have now against what they would have afterward, and the gap between those two pictures is the pitch. Framing the number as a Project Cost rather than a price also matches how remodeling work is quoted in practice.
Developers
Developers use Project Value as the price label and carry the Verified Developer badge. The emphasis is project values, investment details and concept renderings.
Unlike the other business types, Developers emphasize project values and investment information. A developer showing a project to an investor is not answering “what does this cost” — they are answering “what is this worth.” Concept renderings do the heavy lifting for pre-selling lots or showing what is possible on raw land, making the potential tangible before anything is built.

What Every Business Type Gets
Underneath the five labels sits one common toolset. These capabilities are not partitioned by business type — the difference is which of them your audience cares about most.

Where the Plans Differ
Pricing is organized into three tracks, and only one of them is tied to a specific business type.
- Self-Service — the standard track. Basic at $9/mo., Standard at $19/mo., Starter at $49/mo., Growth at $99/mo. and Pro at $199/mo., scaling from 3 properties and 300 monthly views up to 100 properties and 8,000 monthly views.
- We Manage It — the same platform with the work done for you, from $49/mo. through $449/mo., adding listing build-out, boundary and overlay setup, performance reporting and, at the top tier, a dedicated account manager.
- ADU Builders — a dedicated track with Growth at $99/mo. (25 properties, 4,000 monthly views) and Pro at $199/mo. (50 properties, 8,000 monthly views), where Pro unlocks the Interactive Site Planner, ADU placement with setbacks, marking existing structures, PDF site plan export and the unlimited AI Cost Estimator.
All plans include personalized onboarding, and there are no annual contracts. The trial runs 7 days with up to 3 properties and no card required.
How to Choose
The decision is simpler than the table makes it look. Pick the business type that matches the sentence you say most often to a prospect.
- “Here is the parcel, here is the cash price, and I can finance it.” — Land Investors.
- “Here is what we can put in your backyard and what it will cost to build.” — ADU Builders.
- “Here is the lot and the home we will build on it, as one package.” — Home Builders.
- “Here is what you have now, here is what it becomes, here is the project cost.” — Remodelers.
- “Here is the project, the investment detail and what it is worth.” — Developers.
Everything else — the 3D viewer, the flyovers, the concept imagery, the cost estimator, the PropCards, the QR codes, the analytics — is shared across all five. The business type is not a limitation on what you can do. It is a decision about how your listing speaks, and the platform handles that adjustment for you the moment you select it at signup.
